MAMA
MAMA is a multimedia creative collaboration between media producers Marie & Matt. The way we all interact with media is always changing and therefore so is MAMA. We are always searching and learning about new ways to tell stories. We work in a cross blend of media formats to best represent your brand/company and project’s needs.We are visual storytellers and are ready to tell your story.
What we do
Multimedia is at the heart of what we do, so we are always embracing emerging new media art forms. We offer film, videography, animation, post production, vfx, photography, graphic design, sound, web design and any blend of the above.

Who we are
Matt Ashe is a multimedia artist and the Co-director/ Creative Director of The Virtual Reality Agency Ltd. Matt’s background is in visual art practice. Through experimental new media art videos and installations Matt discovered a love for art in a variety of different medias. Matt worked in Eyebeam Art and Technology studio in New York with the artist Paolo Cirio and realised how creative art practice and emerging technology can come together and inform each other. Matt carried out an Msc in Multimedia at DCU where he discovered art outside of the gallery environment through documentaries, music videos, photography, graphic design animation and a variety of multimedia art practices. After graduating Matt has worked on an award-winning film (Spotless), motion graphic animation (EazySAFE), as a videographer (Unislim, Google), as a photographer and graphic designer. Matt has also worked on large scale virtual reality projects for well-know brands and agencies with the Virtual Reality Agency.
Marie Lecoq is a multimedia artist with a background in journalism. Through journalism Marie found her passion for photography, videography and graphic design. She worked as the Layout Editor of her college newspaper during her undergraduate degree and won a design award for her redesign of the publication. Marie began to engage increasingly with visual media, working as a photojournalist, videographer, production assistant / sound recordist and a graphic design intern at a photography agency, where she mastered image editing. She completed an Msc in Multimedia at DCU where she expanded and developed her media production skills. Since Graduation Marie has worked as a successful freelance multimedia artist. She has worked on an award-winning film (Spotless), widely circulated animations (Appliances Delivered & RTE Every County has a Story), event videography (Unislim, Google, ARC, Galway Burlesque Festival) and a rich variety of multimedia projects and collaborations.
